Food is an important part of the service we provide. It is always prepared in our own kitchens, is healthy and nutritious meeting all dietary and cultural requirements.
Weekly menu’s are developed with residents and offer a wide variety of choices.
Alternative choices which are not on the menu are always available.
Mealtimes are however much more than this, we aim to offer an enjoyable dining experience.
This can be in the social environment of our beautiful dining room, a tray service in resident’s room or indeed lunch on the terrace, weather permitting.
We welcome and encourage families to dine and socialise with their relatives.
Sherry is served prior to lunch with wine served with meals.
Residents have their own duo coffee maker in the dining area so can choose to make coffee whenever they wish.
Staff are always available and happy to provide refreshment whenever required day or night.
Each room is provided with a snack basket which is replenished daily.
Peasmarsh Place Country Care does accept existing pets of new residents at its homes.
Each request is assessed on an individual basis and will depend on certain factors, the primary one being the resident must be able to be involved in their pets care.
RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS
Religious services are held regularly in the homes, alternative arrangements can be made for worship to meet individual needs.
