Respite care

For people over 65 years, who have a wish or need to stay in residential care for a short period.

The reasons for this can include people who are recovering from an illness or an operation who need extra care and support before returning to their home.

As an interim stay after being in and released from hospital but are waiting for an appropriate care package to be put in place for them to go home safely.

When family or carers need to have a break or take a holiday.

Trial stays can be arranged for people to decide if coming into residential care is the right decision or is this the right home for them.

We do not maintain a permanent respite room, however, provisional bookings can be taken with confirmation 2 weeks prior to the date.
